Skin Tissue

The skin is the protective layer and the most extensive tissue of the human body, which is associated not only with ability to feel and with tactile sense, but above all with the human immune system. The skin is therefore an external indicator of the body's internal health.

The skin comprises of skin pores, subcutaneous fat, sebaceous glands and outer skin appearance.

What Causes the Skin Disorders

Most of skin diseases are actually the symptomatic indicator of a plasmatic and blood tissue disorders. For this reason, skin health is functionally linked to proper functioning of the liver and blood purity in particular. The skin tissue is also the seat of pitta dosha, which takes care of the temperature, appearance, colour and quality of the skin. It produces sweat, sebum and nourishes the hair roots. Through calm breathing, mental relaxation, meditation and muscle relaxation, stress is reduced, blood flows rhythmically, the vascular system is healthy and the skin tissue is better supplied with blood.
