The original Ayurvedic formula for good digestion, invigorating the body and refreshing the mind based only on a blend of selected herbs and spices originated as a legendary drink of the Indian Maharajas. It was only in the mid-19th century, during the British India period, that the blend was enriched with black tea cultivated in the fertile Assam region of the Brahmaputra basin.
