The incenses are produced in the traditional way, handed down by a line of family generations. The basic ingredient of incenses is the subtropical wood Persea together with white and red sandalwood. All single ingredients are crushed into a smooth blend and then mixed with water. The originated paste is pressed through small circular holes to create long thin strings that are cut, dried and laid down for a couple of months to become mature. The period of maturation in dry areas is essential for the development of rich flowery fragrances.
