Postcovid problems: Falling Asleep and Sleep

If you are having difficulty falling asleep after suffering from the illness, try taking Ashwagandha tea. This herbal mixture contains, in addition to the root of the legendary and highly regenerating Ayurvedic herb ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), several other highly valued adaptogenic herbs.

One of them is the root of asparagus or shatavari (Asparagus racemosus), a herbal tonic with rejuvenating effects that strengthens the body and cleanses the blood (it is also used as supportive care for oncological diseases). Another is the pure powder of amalaki fruit (Embilika officinalis), considered one of the richest sources of vitamin C in nature, which is also a very strong antioxidant. It effectively supports the immune system, cardiovascular health and good digestion. A yogic herb known as brahmi (Centella asiatica), in turn has a very positive effect on the central nervous system, strengthens cognitive functions and relieves accumulated stress. The herb ashwagandha known as "horsepower" has a very strengthening and rather stimulating effect on its own, but it depends on what other herbs you use it with. In combination with the above-mentioned ingredients, on the contrary, it brings calming on the physical and mental level and relaxation during nervous exertion. Thanks to its strengthening properties, it also brings deep regeneration to the body.

We recommend Ashwagandha tea for insomnia, irritability, nervous tension, mental overload, overwork and exhaustion.

  • Preparation: let one teaspoon of the herbal mixture (approx. 2 g) boil for 3-5 minutes or pour 250 ml of boiling water and let it infuse for 10 minutes
  • Recommended dosage: 2-3 cups a day, drink at any time of the day and especially 1 hour before bedtime
